I have ANOTHER meat recipe to share with you! It’s a chicken burger recipe. I know you’re thinking… “but, Laurie, you don’t like meat”. I know! How crazy is that?!
This week my brother made the family chicken burgers. He’s been talking about how good these are for quite some time, and I would just smile, nod and think yeah, right. Ground chicken? Yuck. However… OMGoodness! Chicken burgers really are delicious! I mean really, really SUPER DELICIOUS!
1 lb. ground chicken (We used Perdue. One pound made 4 burgers.)
1/8 cup red pepper – finely chopped
1/8 cup yellow pepper – finely chopped
1/2 cup bread crumbs or Planko (We used Planko) This helps hold the chicken together.
Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, Lawry seasoning, pepper to taste. (or your favorite seasonings)
Add all ingredients together and make into patties. Grill as you would hamburgers.
Optional: add cheese of choice
We topped our burgers with American cheese and ranch dressing. Yum!!
